description In this paper, we present the design and development of a prototype called SETIC, which is software for teaching information and communication technology concepts. SETIC's prototype includes several multimedia resources and is destinated for secondary school students who must learn different abstract concepts. SETIC was designed following the MeiSE methodology that combines a traditional cycle of life system development, with agile methods, also considering a pedagogical point of view as aggregate value for the software.
