Solitonic inhomogeinities in the standard model

We present families of exact solutions of the Einstein field equations that represent highly anysotropic and inhomogeneus universes which evolve into a Robertson Walker regime asymptotically for large values of time. Some of these can be interpreted as perturbations on the Standard Model. The metric...

description We present families of exact solutions of the Einstein field equations that represent highly anysotropic and inhomogeneus universes which evolve into a Robertson Walker regime asymptotically for large values of time. Some of these can be interpreted as perturbations on the Standard Model. The metrics are constructed with the use of the Inverse Scattering Technique of Belinskii and Zakharov and describe the evolution of gravitational solutions on material backgrounds. The important case of perturbations on a De Sitter background is also included.
