Toxicity persistence of cypermethrin and chlorpyrifos to the amphipod <i>Hyallela curvispina</i> was assessed following a simulated plane application in the recently formed pools. In situ exposures and laboratory toxicity tests were performed. An ephemeral toxicity pulse lasting 4 h after the application and mortality cessation following that was observed.
