Through the biographical-narrative approach in articulation with techniques of educational ethnography, we studied the ethical dimension of the teaching of teachers considered memorable by their students. In this article, we explain the ethical-political meanings of the category “therapeutic teaching”: the therapeutic meaning of resistance to disaffection in teaching and the therapeutic meaning of considering the educational fact as a cultural fact. In our interpretive study, we resorted to the narrative of Cecilia, a memorable professor of Teaching and Philosophy careers. The interpretive approach of her narratives allows to show the potential that narrative research in education entails to understand, interpret and make visible meanings and meanings of university teaching.  La categoría “enseñanza terapéutica” surge en un estudio interpretativo-narrativo realizado en la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. Mediante el enfoque biográfico-narrativo en articulación con técnicas de la etnografía educativa se estudió la dimensión ética de la enseñanza de profesoras consideradas memorables por sus estudiantes. En este artículo explicitamos sentidos ético-políticos de la categoría “enseñanza terapéutica”: el sentido terapéutico de la resistencia a la desafectivización en la enseñanza y el sentido terapéutico de la consideración del hecho educativo como hecho cultural. En nuestro estudio interpretativo recurrimos a las narrativas de Cecilia, profesora memorable de las carreras de Profesorado y Licenciatura en Filosofía.
