The aim of this report was to determine the relative rate of vascularization with echo Doppler color flow imaging as a suitable diagnostic method to detect thyroiditis. It is concluded that the ultrasonographic study in conjunction with aspirative cytology and antibodies, are three highly efficient methods for the diagnosis of this thyroid pathology.
