A. All specimens were measured and a complete biometrical table is included. Based on the Chaetognatha and the Thecosomata fauna analyzed by means of the S orensen's index of similarity between samples, the area is divided into four zones with different hydrological characteristics. There is a distinct relationship between the total length of fully mature specimens and latitude. Based on diagrams, an inter-specific competition between S. enflata and S. t tenuis is suggested.
