DEVS theory (originally defined for M&S of discrete event systems) was extended in order to include continuous and hybrid systems. In this work, we present new algorithms we used in building a Modelica compiler of a subset of Modelica, a modular/acausal standard language for physical systems modeling. Models are defined in Modelica are translated into Bond Graphs, which are used to analyse correctness of the specifications, prior their translation as DEVS models. We show how to map Modelica into BG and DEVS, and the algorithms for detection error we implemented in the CD++ tool. |
