Synthesis of 8-[10B]-dihydroxyboryl-harmine, a potential agent for boron neutron capture therapy

The preparation and spectral properties (MS, IR and NMR) of 8-[10B]-dihydroxyborylharmine (III) are described. A general synthetic method was developed for an efficient production of boronated harmine; a potential agent for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) in brain.
