Its massive attendance (30000 students per year) gives - along with the development of fundamental topics of the discipline- the chance to discuss the importance of Chemistry for the Society as a whole to a broad spectrum of teenagers, coming from many different backgrounds. Moreover, it shows the relevance of these topics in relation to the different careers chosen by the students. In this work, we analyzed how a group of young students perceive the Chemical Sciences by means of instruments such as questionnaires, interviews and workshops. We gathered around 600 opinions. Our results suggest that Chemistry is perceived by these students neither as a "polluting" nor a "dangerous" discipline, but rather as a body of knowledge with both vague and diffuse interests. 2013 https://bibliotecadigital.exactas.uba.ar/collection/paper/document/paper_01245481_v14_n1_p29_Risio http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12110/paper_01245481_v14_n1_p29_Risio
