One new genus of monosaccate pollen grains, Variapollenites Ottone, together with seven new species, Anapiculatisporites sandrae Ottone, Anapiculatisporites pamelae Ottone, Variapollenites rhombicus Ottone, Variapollenites curviplicatus Ottone, Variapollenites trisulcus Ottone, Patysaccus olivae Ottone, and Equisetosporites cinctus Ottone, are proposed.
