Sulphato complexes of palladium (II)

Several new palladium (II) complexes containing co-ordinated sulphato groups are reported. Infra-red spectral data has been applied to the characterization of the compounds. The spectrum of Pd(NH3)SO4·H2O indicates the presence of unidentate sulphato groups, whereas those of [Pd(NH3)2SO4] and PdSO4...

The spectrum of Pd(NH3)SO4·H2O indicates the presence of unidentate sulphato groups, whereas those of [Pd(NH3)2SO4] and PdSO4 are considered to be consistent with polymeric structures involving bridging sulphato groups. Chemical and infra-red spectral evidence suggest that the complexes [PdphenSO4], Pdpy2SO4·H2O, [Pd(DMSO)2SO4] and PdSO4·2H2O involve chelating sulphato groups. © 1966. Fil:Eskenazi, R.
