This is Considered as a poor concept, sometimes leading to the illogical fact that two subspecies are morphological, are different than two species. The author points out that in tropical and subtropical areas the same species of bird might have and frequently have two or more populations, of different breeding cycle (spring, autumn and winter); these popnlations can belong to the same form or be only subspecifically difierent. It is therefore recommended not to rush the denomination of form from subspecies to species only beacause of general overlapping. Aves Argentinas.
