This project consists of the design and calculation of a biomass gasifier for fattening poultry farms located on the east coast of the province of Entre Ríos. The equipment is designed with the purpose of, through the biomass gasification process, to convert the chicken litter into a combustible gas destined to feed an electric power generator to self supply the poultry farms with their own electricity onsumption.
The project is divided into three areas: mechanical, thermal and automation. Special attention is paid to the mechanical and thermal area, where all the components involved are designed and assembly and manufacturing drawings are drawn up. Important parts are designed using material strength criteria and engineering criteria.
In the automation area, the gasification process control scheme is designed in which sensors, controllers and accessory components are selected. A detail of the safety instructions in the handling of the equipment is also made, as well as information regarding its operation is provided.
Finally, a cost analysis is carried out, evaluating materials to be used, manufacturing labor and design engineering. |
