The paper engages with empirical contributions on partisan politics at the subnational level. The process was reconstructed and the key relationships between political actors and groups within the PJ and Peronism in the province were described during the period. Based on the analysis of information from the santiagueña and national press and semi - structured interviews with its political actors. The research focused on the disputes over the control of organisational resources of party, as well as on the modes of disputes between political groups and the moment of resolution or integration within the Frente Cívico. Se estudió la reestructuración del peronismo provincial luego de la crisis partidaria y política que generó la última Intervención Federal de 2004. El artículo dialoga con las contribuciones empíricas sobre la política partidaria a escala subnacional. Se reconstruyó el proceso y se describieron las relaciones entre actores y grupos políticos al interior del PJ y del conjunto peronismo santiagueño durante el período, a partir del análisis de información proveniente de la prensa santiagueña, nacional y de entrevistas semiestructuradas. La investigación se enfocó en las disputas por el control de los recursos organizacionales del partido, así como también en los modos de disputas entre los grupos políticos y su momento de resolución o integración dentro del Frente Cívico.
