It is a zoonosis that is  related to socio-economic and environmental hygiene  factors. In the northeastern region of Argentina, the significant seroprevalence suggests that it is a frequently neglected public health problem. Since 1997, at the Regional Medicine Institute and the General Microbiology  Department, both from UNNE, we have extensively  addressed the study of this parasitosis from various  perspectives. Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales y Agrimensura 2024-11-15 info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion application/pdf https://revistas.unne.edu.ar/index.php/fce/article/view/7734 10.30972/fac.3427734 FACENA; Vol. 34 Núm. 2 (2024); 7-16 1851-507X 0325-4216 spa https://revistas.unne.edu.ar/index.php/fce/article/view/7734/7409
