Aspects linked to subdivision and land occupation are considered. Ancient and current measurements are explored; lithographs, engravings, photographs, and drawings, as well as traveler's stories. Other documents provide valuable information, such as chapter minutes, letters, newspapers and magazines. It is observed that the image forged of the colonial city in the existing bibliography is not verified in the analyzed block. The reconstruction addressed is open to future interpretations and research. Se propone una representación de la configuración de la imagen de la ciudad de Corrientes, centrada en el análisis de la manzana 49. Se consideran aspectos vinculados con el loteo y ocupación de suelo. Se exploran mensuras antiguas y actuales; litografías, grabados, fotografías, y dibujos, así como relatos de viajeros.  Otros documentos aportan valiosa información, como las actas capitulares, cartas anuas, periódicos  y revistas. Se observa que la imagen forjada de la ciudad colonial en la bibliografía existente no se verifica en la manzana analizada.
