The CLIL approach has proven to have many benefits, but at the same time, it involves challenges that invite us to reflect on our teaching practices. According to recent studies, one of the greatest difficulties is to design learning environments where content and the foreign language are learned while considering the diversity of the classroom. To deal with this reality, the implementation of active methodologies and the use of scaffolding strategies that contribute to the construction of content and language knowledge are proposed as measures of educational inclusion.
