Sumario:The article analyzes the determinants and conditioning factors of psychosocial risks at work (RPST) based on ongoing research being developed at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), National Universities of Moreno (UNM) and Northeast National University (UNNE). The analysis refers to the specific situation of salaried workers, i.e. those who are legally and economically dependent, a situation that conditions them because they are dominated, exploited and alienated and this has implications on their physical, psychological and mental health. The determining variable in finding meaning in work is the content and organization ofthe work process.
