The analysis refers to the specific situation of salaried workers, i.e. those who are legally and economically dependent, a situation that conditions them because they are dominated, exploited and alienated and this has implications on their physical, psychological and mental health. The determining variable in finding meaning in work is the content and organization ofthe work process.  El artículo analiza los determinantes y condicionantes de los riesgos psicosociales en el trabajo (RPST) a partir de las investigaciones en curso que se desarrollan en el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), en la Universidad Nacional de Moreno (UNM) y en la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE). El análisis se refiere a la situación específica de los trabajadores asalariados, es decir los que son jurídica y económicamente dependientes, situación que los condiciona porque están dominados, explotados y alienados y eso tiene implicancias sobre la salud física, psíquica y mental. La variable determinante para encontrarle un sentido al trabajo es el contenido y la organización del proceso de trabajo.
