This work studies the evolution of the productive chain of cotton in Santa Fe from 2011 to the present, comparing the sub periods 2011-2015 and 2016-2020, and following its progress until the present - as part of the change in the economic model implemented in the country in the period-, identifying breakdowns and continuity. El algodón es una producción que se desarrolla en el Norte de Santa Fe, siendo marginal entre los cultivos provinciales, pero de gran importancia para los departamentos donde se asienta. El presente trabajo estudia la evolución de la cadena productiva algodonera en la Provincia desde 2011, comparando los sub-períodos 2011-2015 y 2016-2020 y observando su progreso hasta la actualidad, en el marco de cambios en el modelo económico implementado en el país durante el período, identificando rupturas y continuidades.
