Productive issues in the Province of Formosa, even more so in the interior, is of little research development, it is due to this reason that it was decided to study the stratum of small producers of the Loma San Pablo neighborhood. For the study, we focused on two culturally hereditary aspects, those related to the productive and demographic, in this way based on the methodological steps that the work followed (in situ surveys, interviews with productive entities, bibliographic analysis and preparation and interpretation of graphs ), this characteristic of generational dragging that producers from the same stratum generally present was made known, and thus have a perspective of aspiring to new horizons in rural areas, even more so in the small producer stratum. As a result, it showed a great dependence on agro-cultural inheritances in this stratum of producers, issues that are respected in the past in the colony, and does not allow rural families to advance. El siguiente escrito de carácter científico surgió como resultado de investigaciones previas para la realización de la tesis final de Licenciatura en Geografía, trata sobre el arrastre generacional de características agroculturales (tipo y forma de producción, herramientas y manejos de producción), y como determina la posición hipotética de desventajas/obstáculo con el que cuentan los pequeños productores agropecuarios. Las cuestiones productivas en la Provincia de Formosa, más aún en el interior es de escaso desarrollo investigativo, es debido a esta razón que se optó por estudiar al estrato de pequeños productores de la colonia Loma San Pablo. Para el estudio se focalizó en dos aspectos hereditarios culturalmente, los referidos a lo productivo y demográfico, de esta manera a partir de los pasos metodológicos que siguió el trabajo (encuestas in situ, entrevistas a entidades productivas, análisis bibliográficos y confección e interpretación de gráficos), se dio a conocer ésta característica de arrastre generacional que presentan en general los productores del mismo estrato, y así tener una perspectiva de aspirar a nuevos horizontes en el ámbito rural, más aún en el estrato del pequeño productor. Como resultado arrojó una gran dependencia de las herencias agro-culturales en este estrato de productores, cuestiones que se respetan de antaño en la colonia, y no permite avanzar a las familias rurales.
