It focused on an educational center in the youth and adult modality that has particular characteristics. There is a need to develop school alternatives so that young people who remain out of school are included to complete their schooling. It is important to think about the need to look at the learning processes of young people who, although they have completed and certified their primary education, have not managed to develop basic literacy skills. This situation, which is present every day with more impact in all the educational institutions of the system, makes us reflect on how this modality should absorb this population and define a new instance of accreditation for these young people. El presente informe refiere a la revisión teórica sobre la importancia de la construcción de las adecuaciones curriculares necesarias para fortalecer las trayectorias escolares de jóvenes en contextos de encierro. Se focalizó en un centro educativo de la modalidad de jóvenes y adultos que presenta características particulares. Se manifiesta la necesidad de desarrollar alternativas escolares para que los jóvenes que permanecen fuera de la escuela se incluyan para completar su escolaridad. Es importante pensar en la necesidad de una mirada puesta en los procesos de aprendizaje de jóvenes que, si bien han completado y certificado sus trayectos de educación primaria, no han logrado desarrollar las competencias básicas de lectoescritura. Esta situación, que se hace presente cada día con más impacto en todas las instituciones educativas del sistema, nos hace reflexionar sobre cómo esta modalidad debe absorber esta población y definir una instancia nueva de acreditación para estos jóvenes.
