The present preliminary report is aimed at introducing students and anyone interested in the theme to the current condition and rehabilitation work carried out on the contemporary heritage in Buenos Aires. It is the second preliminary report of the series started with the Documentos de Trabajo # 229 “The 20th century rehabilitated heritage in Buenos Aires: the modern heritage”. The introductory essay and the examples included in the itinerary aim by no means at covering all the actions developed but at introducing and evaluating those cases, which, according to the author´s perception are the better referents on the state of the art in the field. The documentation survey and register of the examples was part of the training in research activities of a group of former students who voluntarily joint us and enthusiastically devoted part of their scarce free time to contribute to this project. To all of them our recognition and credits. El patrimonio moderno de Buenos Aires ya ha sido presentado sintéticamente en informes preliminares anteriores, los Documentos de Trabajo N° 121 “El patrimonio del Movimiento Moderno en Buenos Aires, 1929-2004”, N° 138 “El patrimonio arquitectónico contemporáneo de Buenos Aires” y N° 161 “Patrimonio arquitectónico de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, primeras décadas del siglo 20”. Este nuevo informe preliminar está dedicado a estudiantes e interesados en general, y reflexiona acerca del estado actual y las rehabilitaciones llevadas a cabo en el patrimonio arquitectónico contemporáneo de Buenos Aires, siendo el segundo de la serie iniciada con el Documento de Trabajo Nº 229 “El patrimonio arquitectónico rehabilitado del siglo 20 en Buenos Aires: el patrimonio moderno”. El ensayo introductorio y los casos incluidos en el itinerario no pretender de ninguna manera cubrir todas las acciones llevadas a cabo, sino presentar y analizar aquellos ejemplos que, a juicio de los autores, son los referentes más claros del estado actual en la materia. El trabajo de registro de casos y búsqueda documental fue desarrollado como parte de nuestra tarea de formación en investigación de ex-alumnos que voluntaria y entusiastamente se nos unieron y dedicaron parte de su escaso tiempo libre para colaborar con el proyecto, a todos ellos va nuestro agradecido reconocimiento.
