The present work makes an analysis of Griselda Gambaro’s "El campo" based on a semiotic approach that allows us to investigate the implications of the representation of time and history from the perspectives of P. Ricoeur, W. Benjamin, G. Didi-Huberman, B. Sarlo and A. Kaufman. La representación teatral del pasado que trae el recuerdo de la violencia límite ejercida por el Estado sobre los cuerpos, interpela nuestro presente. Esa irrupción del pasado se nos vuelve comprensible a través de la organización de determinados procedimientos de la representación dramático-escénica. El presente trabajo realiza un análisis sobre "El campo" de Griselda Gambaro, a través de un abordaje semiótico que nos permite indagar sobre las implicancias de la representación del tiempo y la historia desde las perspectivas de P.
