In this article I intend to develop, based on the work of José Imbelloni, Marcelo Bórmida and his followers, this course. Runa developed at that time an antinomy that we could call “authoritariandiversity”: itis clear that only what the director of the review wanted to be published was published. But this arbitrary position also made Runa have a clear line. If one wanted to know what was the vision of Americanistics from diffusionism, one could refer to Runa. The same later regarding phenomenology. How to balance an editorial line that has personality but at the same time is democratic, participatory and according to the current levels of academic and scientific demand is probably one of the future challenges of reviews like Runa

Por ende sus discusiones giraron en torno al difusionismo, la americanística y posteriormente la fenomenología. Si bien estas teorías no fueron lo único que se plasmó en la revista, sí creo presentan un eje central durante las primeras tres décadas de su circulación. En este artículo pretendo desarrollar, a partir de los trabajos de José Imbelloni, Marcelo Bórmida y su entorno, dicho derrotero. Runa desarrolló en esa época una antinomia que podríamos denominar “diversidad autoritaria”: es claro que solo se publicaba lo que el director de la revista quería que se publicara. Pero esta posición arbitraria también hacía que la revista tuviera una línea clara. Si uno quería saber cuál era la visión sobre laamericanísticadesde el difusionismo podía referirse a dicha revista. Igual posteriormente respecto a la fenomenología. Cómo equilibrar una línea editorial que tenga personalidad pero a la vez sea democrática, participativa y acorde a los niveles de exigencia académica y científica actuales probablemente sea uno de los desafíos a futuro de revistas como Runa. Fundada em 1948 e pelo menos até a década de 1980, Runa foi uma expressão dos diretores do Museu Etnográfico. Portanto, suas discussões giravam em torno ao difusionismo, o americanismo e posteriormente a fenomenologia. Embora essas teorias não tenham sido as únicas questoes abordadas nessa revista, acredito que elas apresentem um eixo central durante as três primeiras décadas de sua circulação. Neste artigo pretendo desenvolver, com base no trabalho de José Imbelloni, Marcelo Bórmida e seusdiscipulos, este derroteiro. Runa desenvolveu na época uma antinomia que poderíamos chamar de “diversidadeautoritária”: é claro que apenas o que o diretor da revista queria ser publicado foi publicado. Mas essaposiçãoarbitráriatambémfezcom que a revista tivesseumalinha clara. Se alguémquisesse saber qual era a visão da americanística a partir do difusionismo, poderia se referir à referida revista. O mesmo depois em relação à fenomenologia. Como equilibrar uma linha editorial que tenha personalidade, mas ao mesmo tempo seja democrático, participativo e de acordocom os níveis atuais de demanda acadêmica e científica, é provavelmente um dos desafios futuros para revistas como Runa.
