In that way the complementary enery is analyzed in the rural families throughout the vital cycle in terms of balance between work and consumpion and the incidence of the same in the composition of household units. The vital cycle models of three rural areas were reconstructed and the existance of a rural differentiation process in this region is suggested. Finally a reinterpretation of previous synchronic analysis for these districts is presentes based on Lastett's typology of households from the persective of the cycle development of household units. En este artículo se presenta una caracterización de los distintos tipos de unidades productivas de dos partidos rurales de la jusrisdicción de Córdoba, diferenciados en sus aspectos socioeconómicos y ecológicos. Aplicando el modelo cde Chayanov al tratamiento de la información del censo de población de 1778, se analizan las formas de complementación de energía de las familias campesinas, a lo largo del ciclo vital, en términos del balance entre trabajo y consumo y la incidencia de las mismas en la composición de las unidades domésticas. se recosntruyen así los modelos del ciclo vital de tres sectores campesinos y se sugiere la vigencia de un proceso de diferenciación campesina en estas zonas. Finalmente, se plantea una reinterpretación de análisis sincrónicos previos para estos partidos, basados en la tipología de hogares de Laslett, desde la perspectiva del ciclo de desarrollo de las unidades domésticas.  Sección Etnohistoria, Instituto de Ciencias Antropológicas.
