In order to characterize the different types of future in the novel and to understand how they shape the narrative, two external discourses are drawn upon: firstly, the theories of conceptual history on the temporalization of experience in Modernity and the discovery of a new concept of future (Koselleck, Hölscher); secondly, Moritz's own aesthetic writings. Este trabajo analiza la representación del futuro en la novela Anton Reiser. Ein psychologischer Roman, de Karl Philipp Moritz. La hipótesis es que en esta obra se representan tres tipos diferentes de futuro que cumplen una función estructural central en la narración. Para caracterizar los distintos tipos de futuro de la novela y entender cómo condicionan el relato, se recurre a dos discursos externos: en primer lugar, a las teorías de la historia conceptual sobre la temporalización de la experiencia en la Modernidad y el descubrimiento de un nuevo concepto de futuro (Koselleck, Hölscher); en segundo lugar, a los escritos sobre estética del propio Moritz.
