At first, we reflect on the concepts of fragmentation, social hybridization, spatiality and territoriality in the Librarianship reality and its incidence in teaching. Later, within this context, the importance of the following aspects in the teaching of Librarianship and Library Science is studied: the theoretical formation, the problem of historical tradition, the articulation with the Social Sciences, the interdisciplinary dimension, the academic tutoring, the development of mathematical and algorithmic studies, the importance of dialogue and affectivity, among others. Finally, it ends up with an exhortation to encourage the audacity of these changes in teacher training in the discipline. En este editorial se plantea la importancia de la formación docente universitaria en Bibliotecología y Ciencia de la Información (B/CI), tomando a la Argentina como objeto de análisis. En un primer momento, se reflexiona sobre los conceptos de fragmentación, hibridación social, espacialidad y territorialidad en la realidad bibliotecológica y su incidencia en la docencia. Posteriormente, dentro de este contexto, se estudian la importancia de los siguientes aspectos en la enseñanza de la Bibliotecología: la formación teórica, el problema de la tradición histórica, la articulación con las Ciencias Sociales, la interdisciplinaridad, la tutoría académica, el desarrollo de los estudios matemáticos y algorítmicos, la importancia del dialogo y la afectividad, entre otros. Finalmente, se concluye con una exhortación para fomentar la audacia de estos cambios en la formación docente en la disciplina.
