A tango duo is a social context favourable to musical practice to study the interaction between musicians and in particular, a type of one-to-one, direct and face-to-face interaction from the Second Person Perspective of mental attribution. An exploratory study was designed that consisted of the qualitative analysis of a conversation between the musicians of a duo (the first author as a participating researcher). From the thematic and content analysis, three categories emerged that describe Second Person attributions in the situated practice of tango. Two of them refer to basic modes of expressive communication mediated by the temporal intention of each one and the perception of the other in the performance. These modes are dependent on the reciprocal attributions of the intentional perception-action loop during musical practice. The third category showed the construction of an expressive normativity typical of the duo, achieved through a process of mutual attributions and adaptations of the expressive codes implicit in the interpretation of each one. Finally, we discuss the scope of this study to rethink and re signify the concepts of temporal regulation, the concertante roles and the performative style of knowing how to do tango. |

Un dúo de tango es un escenario social propicio de práctica musical para estudiar la interacción entre los músicos y en particular, un tipo de interacción uno a uno, directa y cara a cara desde la Perspectiva de la Segunda Persona de la atribución mental. Se diseñó un estudio exploratorio que consistió en el análisis cualitativo de una conversación entre los músicos de un dúo (el primer autor como investigador participante). Del análisis temático y de contenido, emergieron tres categorías que describen atribuciones de Segunda Persona en la práctica situada del tango. Dos de ellas refieren a modos básicos de la comunicación expresiva mediados por la intención temporal de cada uno y la percepción del otro en la ejecución. Estos modos son dependientes de las atribuciones recíprocas del bucle de percepción-acción intencional durante la práctica musical. La tercera categoría mostró la construcción de una normatividad expresiva propia del dúo, lograda a través de un proceso de atribuciones y adaptaciones mutuas de los códigos expresivos implícitos en la ejecución de cada uno. Finalmente discutimos los alcances de este estudio para repensar y resignificar los conceptos de la regulación temporal, los roles concertantes y el estilo de ejecución del saber hacer tango. Um duo de tango é um ambiente social propício à prática musical para estudar a interação entre músicos e, em particular, um tipo de interação um a um, direta e face a face da perspectiva da segunda pessoa de atribuição mental. Foi elaborado um estudo exploratório que consistiu na análise qualitativa de uma conversa entre os músicos de uma dupla (primeiro autor como pesquisador-participante). Da análise temática e de conteúdo, emergiram três categorias que descrevem as atribuições da segunda pessoa na prática situada do tango. Dois deles referem-se a modos básicos de comunicação expressiva mediados pela intenção temporal de cada um e pela percepção do outro na performance. Esses modos dependem das atribuições recíprocas do loop intencional de percepção-ação durante a prática musical. A terceira categoria evidenciou a construção de uma normatividade expressiva típica da dupla, alcançada por meio de um processo de atribuições e adaptações mútuas dos códigos expressivos implícitos na atuação de cada um.
