With the aim of widening the most common approaches on the matter -most of them focused on the effects of repression policies inward national borders- this article offers a geographic delimitation that covers the connections between police forces from Buenos Aires, Montevideo and diverse Brazilian port cities. Based on the reconstruction of epistolary exchange and abundant telegrams, the article outlines a particular cartography that lets us rethink the routes of repression and banishment focusing on the dynamics that foreigners’ expulsion caused in the ports of this region. Even though police sources are the key element of this study, the article also analyzes commercial press and anarchists writings. Este artículo analiza la emergencia de mecanismos de cooperación policial para la vigilancia y expulsión de anarquistas en el atlántico sudamericano. Buscando ampliar las aproximaciones más corrientes sobre el tema, en su mayoría enfocadas en los efectos de las políticas represivas dentro de las fronteras nacionales, propone un recorte geográfico que abarca las conexiones entre las policías de Buenos Aires, Montevideo y diversas ciudades portuarias brasileñas. A partir de la reconstrucción de intercambios epistolares y de una abundante circulación de telegramas se esboza una cartografía específica para repensar rutas de la represión y del destierro, con foco en la dinámica que las expulsiones de extranjeros provocaron en los puertos de la región. Aunque sean centrales para este estudio, el análisis no se ciñe únicamente a las fuentes policiales, sino que también incorpora documentos de la prensa comercial y relatos de los propios anarquistas.
