It has been\nused in this work the method of case analysis to extract general parameters in this area\nof knowledge. At present, international arbitration is a guarantee offered by the State,\nwhich has generated a climate of greater security for foreign investors in dealing with\nrecipient and investment has encouraged the growth of international trade. El CIADI\ncreado en el Convenio de Washington de 1965 se ha constituido en el foro natural para\nconocer de las controversias entre un Estado receptor y un inversor nacional de otro\nEstado. En este contexto se cuestionan varios aspectos vinculados a la formación del\nconsentimiento para someterse al arbitraje internacional, en particular las modalidades\n(contrato, legislación y tratados) y efectos de la manifestación del consentimiento por\nparte del Estado receptor de la inversión. En este trabajo se ha empleado el método de\nanálisis de casos para extraer parámetros generales en la materia.
