Through the study of the views and individual opinion issued, it critically examines aspects related to the elements of forced disappearance, its comprehensive approach, issues of admissibility, the rights involved, the state obligation to investigate forced disappearances, the need to adapt the domestic legal framework in accordance with international standards, the concept of victim, the gender dimension, and reparations. The investigation ends with an assessment of the positive and negative aspects of the work of the Human Rights Committee, examining individual cases of enforced disappearances under the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. La Plata, Argentina Jurisdiccion internacional Salvioli, Fabián 2023 El trabajo realiza un recorrido sobre toda la jurisprudencia emitida por el Comité de Derechos Humanos de Naciones Unidas en materia de desapariciones forzadas, desde su primer caso resuelto hasta fines del año 2016. A través del estudio de los dictámenes y los votos particulares emitidos, se examinan críticamente aspectos relativos a los elementos de la desaparición forzada, su abordaje integral, cuestiones de admisibilidad, los derechos involucrados, la obligación estatal de investigar desapariciones forzadas, la necesidad de adecuar el marco legal interno conforme a los estándares internacionales, el concepto de víctima, la dimensión de género, y las reparaciones.
