description	ABSTRACT: The article consists of a bibliographic review of Letters to whom he intends to teach (1993) by Paulo Freire, arising from the reading of Prolegomena for a reconstitution of teaching (1954) by Gilbert Simondon. From very different spatio-temporal contexts (France in 1950 and Brazil in 1990), both authors reflect on some of the central aspects of the educational system of their time and question the reality of teaching in pursuit of a horizontal education (or democratic for Freire) and engine of social change. In his text, Simondon emphasizes unique teaching, without artificial segregation that includes theoretical, cultural, visual, manual and agricultural learning. Freire's text, for its part, focuses on the role of educators as educational professionals and as fundamental pillars of the struggle for social justice. Based on the review of these two works, some possible lines of rapprochement between the authors will be presented that would be interesting to explore in order to enrich and rethink the task and ethical-political responsibility that our teaching practice entails.

Desde contextos espacio-temporales bien diferentes (Francia de 1950 y Brasil de 1990), ambos autores reflexionan sobre algunos de los aspectos centrales del sistema educativo de su época y ponen en cuestión la realidad de la enseñanza en pos de una educación horizontal (o democrática para Freire) y motor de cambio social. En su texto, Simondon pone el énfasis en la enseñanza única, sin segregación artificial que incluya un aprendizaje teórico, cultural, visual y de trabajos manuales y agrícolas. El texto de Freire, por su parte, se enfoca en el rol de los y las educadores en tanto profesionales de la educación y pilares fundamentales de la lucha por la justicia social.
