Sumario:Abstract: In this article, a North American professor of feminist legal theory and two of her Ecuadorian students describe and critique their experience in the first course on this topic taught at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. This article adopts a dialogical feminist narrative method to provide an example to others seeking to teach such a course. The professor of the course describes how she structured the class, assessed students, and conceptualized an international feminist epistemology for the classroom. The students describe their experiences. All of the authors offer their critiques of how such a course can be improved and perfected in future iterations. Adopting the feminist methodology of narrative, the primary source of knowledge is the experience of the authors, which they offer in this article in order to help other professors envision how they might design a similar course. The authors conclude by observing the professional, educational, and personal value of such a class in the law school curriculum.
