Subsequently, it will be exhibited the main controversies that the use of soft law has provoked, as well as the advantages that has provided, regarding its convinience. Finally, different International Environmental Law instruments will be examined, taking into account the specific features they present ? in comparison with other instruments ? in the light of soft law. Tras focalizarse en la idea de una normatividad graduada, el análisis se centrará en el terreno del soft law, destacando la necesidad de flexibilidad a nivel internacional. Previo a ello, se caracterizará al hard law desde la teoría de las fuentes y en la ineludible interacción con el primero. Luego, se exhibirán las principales controversias que el uso de soft law ha suscitado, así como también las ventajas que ha proporcionado en torno a su conveniencia.
