En la tercera etapa se distinguen análisis sobre cine, así como una poderosa redefinición de los modelos de sociedades disciplinarias descriptas por Michel Foucault. \nEn la obra de Foucault, también suelen diferenciarse tres etapas. En la primera domina la pregunta arqueológica sobre el surgimiento de determinados enunciados en ciertos momentos.
