This text reveals the factors that allow us to recognize in a pre-modern performer an integration of both elements of expression, understanding the path that led to its dissolution.  El presente artículo ofrece una panorámica histórica general desde el inicio de las expresiones artísticas en el marco del ritual hasta el renacimiento, rescatando la sucesiva separación entre la danza y el teatro. Esta disociación resulta en un progresivo problema para el intérprete escénico, quien desde la diferenciación disciplinar se ve imposibilitado de trabajar cuerpo y voz de un modo orgánico.
