A partir de las reflexiones del trabajo de investigación-acción antropológico que realizo con la Asociación de Mujeres Afrodescendientes de Avellaneda, analizo la relación entre el hacer ciudad , las estrategias de visibilización cultural y social, las trayectorias habitacionales y las activaciones de demandas de derechos sociales realizada por la asociación. Se concluye que en un contexto de multiculturalismo y reconocimiento cultural de la población afrodescendiente la persistencia de una frontera de posibilidad de interpelación revela la dimensión simbólica y racial del orden urbano y de la segregación socioespacial de la ciudad. SUMMARY The demands for the right to the city of the Afro-descendant population are thought of as misplaced ideas both from public policies and from academia. Focused on the reflections of the anthropological action-research work that I carry out with the Association of Afro-descendant Women of Avellaneda, I analyze the relationship between city-making , the strategies of cultural and social visibility, the housing trajectories and the activations of demands for social rights made by the association.
