description In the present work, we will analyze the construction of an “Intercultural Neighborhood” settled on the Curruhuinca´s community, in the department of San Martín de los Andes. According to do that, at first we will focus in different narratives that, as an icon, dispute the meaning of the neighborhood ass well the locality, under the “community cultural integration” discursive. We start by considering that this scenario replicates - at the micro level - the social, economic, political and cultural tensions that characterize this tourist plaza. In second place, we will show the difficulties that the articulating interests, modes of political practice, management experiences, relationship formats -with different state levels- and different cultural traditions arise in a scenario characterized with an heterogeneity of actors involved in the construction of the “Intercultural Neighborhood”.

En el presente trabajo se analizará la construcción del “Barrio Intercultural” asentado en los predios de la comunidad Curruhuinca de la localidad de San Martín de los Andes. Como eje principal, se hará foco en las distintitas narrativas que, como íconos, disputan el sentido tanto del barrio como de la localidad, en el marco del abanico discursivo de la “integración cultural comunitaria”. Partimos de considerar que ese escenario replica —a nivel micro— las tensiones sociales, económicas, políticas y culturales que caracterizan a esta plaza turística. Asimismo, y de forma secundaria, se profundizará en las dificultades que se producen a la hora de articular intereses, modalidades de práctica política, experiencias de gestión, formatos de relacionamiento con distintos niveles estatales y tradiciones culturales diferentes que deben procesar la heterogeneidad de actores que intervienen en la construcción del “Barrio Intercultural”. No presente trabalho, será analisada a construção do assim denominado “Bairro Intercultural” estabelecido nas comunidades de Curruhuinca da cidade de San Martín de los Andes, Chubut, Argentina. O foco principal se situa nas narrativas distintivas que, como um ícone, disputam o significado da vizinhança e da localidade, dentro da estrutura da gama discursiva de “integração cultural comunitária”. Começamos por considerar que esse cenário replica - no nível micro - as tensões sociais, econômicas, políticas e culturais que caracterizam essa praça turística.
