Thus, this article focuses on her contributions to the knowledge of this specific period in the last part of her professional trajectory, when she relayed in historical anthropology for the analytical categories it provided, such us the relation between norm and practice and the articulation among representations, discourses and action. Finally the analysis of the elites of colonial Tucumán and center-south Andes during the above-mentioned period made by Lorandi are considered relevant historiographical contributions.  El presente trabajo retoma y profundiza algunos de los argumentos planteados en un artículo previo (Bunster y Ortemberg 2016) donde los autores efectuaban un recorrido crítico sobre la obra de Ana María Lorandi referida a la problemática de los siglos XVIII tardío y XIX temprano. El foco está puesto en lo aportes realizados al conocimiento de este período durante la última etapa de su trayectoria profesional, momento en que la antropología histórica le proveyó de categorías de análisis útiles para plantear problemas de fondo como: la relación entre las normas y las prácticas, y los modos de articulación entre las representaciones, los discursos y las acciones.
