In public sphere there are practically no critical voices proposing an alternative agricultural model, constituting the agribusiness ideological discourse as hegemonic. Its main topic is the defense of the change in the form of production from the promotion of a technological package composed by three components: direct sowing, transgenic seeds and agrochemicals. In this paper we analyze the interpellative effectiveness of this discourse in the representations about the “technological package” of the agricultural pampa´s actors. The methodological strategy for collecting and constructing data consisted of 42 interviews carried out between 2016 and 2018 in two Buenos Aires counties with very different agroecological characteristics: Ayacucho (predominantly livestock) and Baradero (predominantly agricultural). Through this analysis, we are going to look into the hegemonic capacity of the agribusiness discourse and the tensions that emerge from it among agricultural actors. En las últimas décadas ha avanzado un modelo de producción en el agro pampeano denominado “agronegocios” que tuvo profundos impactos sociales. En la esfera pública prácticamente no tienen lugar voces críticas que propongan un modelo agropecuario alternativo, constituyéndose el discurso ideológico de los agronegocios como hegemónico. Su tópico principal es la defensa del cambio en la forma de producción a partir de la promoción de un paquete tecnológico integrado por tres componentes: siembra directa, semillas transgénicas y agroquímicos. Si bien esta forma de producir ya es predominante en términos materiales, nos preguntamos si existe un consentimiento activo de los sujetos rurales en torno a los sentidos que el discurso de los agronegocios construyó sobre el nuevo modelo tecnológico. En este marco, el objetivo de este trabajo es indagar en la eficacia interpelativa de este discurso en las representaciones sobre el paquete tecnológico de los actores del agro pampeano. La estrategia metodológica para la recolección y construcción de datos, consistió en 42 entrevistas realizadas entre el 2016 y el 2018 en dos partidos bonaerenses con características agroecológicas muy distintas (Baradero y Ayacucho).
