In this paper prediction models based on data mining and have been analyzed in several studies to evaluate its acceptance are cited. These models are bayesian networks (RB) and artificial neural networks (ANN). The paper concludes with some examples of investigations realized with RB and RNA where forecasts have been analyzed international container ports terminals.  Ante la necesidad de manejar una gran información de datos surgen nuevas técnicas basadas en la minería de datos con objeto de descubrir patrones. En este caso patrones de predicción necesarios para poder hacer un uso rápido y eficaz de estos datos. En este documento se citan algunos modelos de predicción basados en la minería de datos y que han sido analizados en diversos estudios para valorar su aceptación. Los modelos citados en el artículo son: redes bayesianas (RB) y redes neuronales artificiales (RNA).
