| Sumario: | The results of the analysis of a specific area from the mid Calchaquí Valley (Salta, Argentina) applying remote sensing techniques (vertical aerial photographs) are presented here. By assessing the archaeological knowledge and the physical and environmental characteristics of the area, we evaluate the use of this technique and give a preliminary approach to the settlement pattern and use of space during the Desarrollos Regionales (1.000 to 1.400 DC) and Inca (1.400 a 1.532 DC) Periods. |
