Also, it analyses the uses and affective experiences of the archive that can be traced as meaning effects of these publications. In this way, the public transformation of the archive is considered a process of production of figurations, uses and experiences of the archive as “public”. From a perspective concerned with the following of textual materialities, and which considers contributions from anthropology, discourse analysis and semiotics, the article proposes to show the participation of the academic field –in particular, Recent History– in the contemporary appropriation and meaning generation about this archive, with regard specifically to its transformation into a public archive. El artículo analiza las informaciones sobre la apertura y las utilidades públicas del archivo de la DIPPBA, Argentina, en artículos de investigación de historia reciente. También se analizan los usos y las experiencias afectivas del archivo que pueden rastrearse en esas publicaciones como efectos de sentido. De este modo, su devenir público se considera un proceso de producción de figuraciones, usos y experiencias del archivo como “público”. Desde una mirada preocupada por el seguimiento de las materialidades textuales, y que considera aportes de la antropología, el análisis del discurso y la semiótica, se propone mostrar la participación del ámbito académico –en particular, la historia reciente– en la apropiación contemporánea y generación de sentidos sobre este archivo, en lo que respecta específicamente a su transformación en un archivo público. O artigo analisa as informações sobre a abertura e utilidades públicas do arquivo do DIPPBA, Argentina, em artigos de pesquisa de história recente. Também são analisados os usos e experiências afetivas do arquivo que podem ser rastreados nessas publicações como efeitos de sentido. Desta forma, a transformação pública do arquivo é considerada um processo de produção de figurações, usos e experiências do arquivo como “público”.
