For it, we examine all the issues published weekly in Buenos Aires from the beginning of the war, in July 1914, to the armistice in November 1918. We argue that this magazine, thanks to the guidance of its director Constancio C. Vigil, enabled the discussion of the drama of the war and the enunciation of anti-war speeches by women and schoolchildren from the beginning of the war until the entry of Italy into the war in May 1915. In short, Mundo Argentino displayed reflections on both war and peace. The article focuses on explaining the characteristics and ups and downs of these anti-war speeches in line with the drifts of the conflagration and the fate of Vigil himself in directing the magazine.
