I present as well the theoretical guidelines of my own approach to folk narrative texts from a hypertextual genetic perspective. Such approach is the result of a postdoctoral research, as a member of the Genetic Criticism Group directed by Ana María Barrenechea. I contextualize this approach in a diachronic itinerary of the Hispanic Philology Institute, from it’s creation 1923 up to the present days. In such itinerary, I focus my attention in the research work achieved by Berta Elena Vidal de Battini, who compiled the greatest collection of Argentinean Folk Narrative. When mentioning her research work, I deal as well with the history of Argentinean Folk Narrative Archives, from the very first one, the Folkloric Survey of 1921, filed up in folders containing manuscripts. My goal is to provide the reader an overview of the main trends and topics of Folk Narrative research in the Hispanic Philology Institute, along with the transcription of two contemporary folk versions, which I collected in fieldwork in La Rioja, Argentina. En este trabajo, presento algunas notas sobre los estudios de Folklore en el Instituto de Filología y Literaturas Hispánicas “Dr. Amado Alonso”, encuadradas dentro de su historia. Estas notas me sirven como marco para presentar mi propuesta de aproximación al relato folklórico con un enfoque genético hipertextual, que diseñé en el marco del grupo de investigación coordinado por Ana María Barrenechea. Ofrezco una breve reseña de las líneas de investigación relacionadas con el campo disciplinar del Folklore, desde la creación del Instituto en 1923 hasta la actualidad, y me detengo en los trabajos de Berta Elena Vidal de Battini, figura clave en los estudios de folklore. Incluyo una referencia diacrónica a los archivos generales de narrativa folklórica argentina, desde la primera Encuesta Folklórica de 1921, para ubicar en esta serie las investigaciones del Instituto de Filología.
