In this scenario, French specialists in the Spanish-speaking world's language, literature, and history decide to speak up or get involved in politics to change the society in which they live. A set of institutional and personal decisions that shows us how scientists come out of their positions of neutrality, interact with society, participate in it and, at times, are submerged by major political changes that they accept or respond to, not without having an impact on their personal and professional experiences. No 3 (2023): Enero-Junio; 150-168 Historia & Guerra; Núm. 3 (2023): Enero-Junio; 150-168 2796-8650 Hispanism War Science Collaboration Resistance Hispanismo Guerra Ciencia Colaboración Resistencia Political positions of scholars during the two world wars.
