Following the work of Linda Hutcheon, other ways of understanding beckettian ironies are proposed. Este texto aborda las diferentes huellas de los escépticos griegos en la obra de Beckett, principalmente en La Trilogía. A partir de la actitud eféctica que evoca el Innombrable desde el principio del texto, se analizan las posibilidades de leer estas referencias filosóficas como inserciones irónicas que desestabilizan la noción de intencionalidad.
