For this, we built a case study on the Carlos Mugica neighborhood, also known as Ejército de los Andes and Fuerte Apache, which allows us to get closer to the multiple rural mobilities that cross and affect its past and present. Among the results of the research, it is possible to point out that: rural mobilities diversify and become more heterogeneous, both due to their characteristics and temporalities and to their historical evolution; the experience of the urban is traversed by a previous experience of the rural that is still latent in the city and affects the ways of inhabiting it; the movement implies the possibility of developing an attentive look at the transformations of the places along which it unfolds; and, finally, that school experiences appear as an important reference, both because of the opportunities it offers and because of the tensions and markings that are experienced there. En este artículo analizamos las movilidades rurales que atraviesan y dan forma a las trayectorias socio-educativas de jóvenes y adultos que estudian y/o viven en un barrio del conurbano bonaerense (Argentina) desde un enfoque analítico que se vale de los aportes de los estudios migratorios y de los estudios de la movilidad, así como de la etnografía. Para ello construimos un estudio de caso sobre el barrio Carlos Mugica, también conocido como Ejército de los Andes y Fuerte Apache, que nos permite aproximarnos a las múltiples movilidades rurales que atraviesan e inciden sobre su pasado y su presente.
