That takes place in a territory that has undergone different transformations as a result of the advance of the agricultural frontier, especially since the emergence of soybean production, land dispossession and the cotton production crisis, causing both population movements and productive, economic and social changes. The objective is to analyze the main changes that affect population involved in rural-rural and rural-urban displacements, identifying their new living spaces and families dynamics and their daily living relations.\n\n  En este artículo se analiza un tipo de movilidad que se produce a partir del desplazamiento de población causado por los procesos de expulsión campesina, por un lado, hacia parcelas reducidas a través de un proceso de reubicación de familias rurales y, por el otro, hacia la localidad de Los Juríes, en el departamento de General Taboada (Santiago del Estero). Todo ello como resultado del avance de la frontera agropecuaria, sobre todo a partir de la emergencia de la producción de soja, la desposesión de tierras y la crisis del algodón, originando tanto movimientos de población como cambios productivos, económicos y sociales.
